The Beta Zeta Board of Governors consists of 9 alumni and 2 undergraduate members (Chapter President and his designee). The alumni members are elected for 3 year terms, and 3 positions come up for election each year at the Annual Board Meeting in Spring. Board officers are elected annually, and consist of the President, VP, Treasurer, and Secretary.

The roles/responsibilities of the Beta Zeta Association of Theta Xi, Inc (aka "The Alumni Association") are:

1. Incorporated in the State of Alabama as a not-for-profit organization
2. Promotes social intercourse among members
3. Maintains the Chapter House at 835 West Magnolia
4. Includes all members of the Beta Zeta Chapter in "good standing"
5. The Association leadership is derived from the Board of Governors (aka "The Board") comprised of 9 alumni members and 2 undergraduate members and invested with the following authority:
1. Conduct of Association business & property including buying and disposal of fraternal assets
2. Prescription of rules and regulations for the use of the House
3. Appoint, remove, and fix compensation for employees of the House
4. Negotiate and delivery of promissory notes or mortgages
